Eat Smart, Lose Weight, And Get A Lively Energy Boost That Lasts All Day
I just needed a little boost
This morning before 9:00 a.m., I drank my beet juice, guzzled a large glass of hot water with collagen, managed to get down a half bottle of healthy greens made for boosting the immune system (or maybe it was the mood booster), and I ate my first serving of saurkraut. Oh, I forgot I also downed black garlic — this was new, but all the rage according to the very knowledgeable person at my health food store.
All before breakfast. But now I’m too full, and have no need to eat.
This is what changed in my day.
I was tired when I woke up. My sleep was fitful, and I woke up too early. I dragged myself through the morning energy deprived. I pulled over to a shopping center instead of going to Starbucks to work on my computer, and canceling all the calls I was going to make, I turned off the engine, closed my eyes and did nothing. I breathed and sat, and did nothing. 20 minutes.
Soon the bonuses came. My morning intake of healthy foods was light and effective. I felt alive, energized, I felt like myself. I went to the gym, worked out like an Olympian. Aterward I took photos and created art for my articles and when I went to my acting class at night I felt confident in my performance.
Now there was no stopping me. After class I took a 45 minute Walk of Love in the Venice Canals. This is my time reserved for appreciation and gratitude.
Tomorrow, I’ll start over with the beet juice, work my way to the saurkraut. I’ll take it all in again.
And I’ll get a great night’s sleep.
I love you Life.
