I Started To Trust Myself and This is What Happened In Just One Day

I didn’t expect the results to be this sudden, or this dramatic. It was still early in the week this past Tuesday when I decided to put self-trust to the test. I sensed there was a deeper level to achieve this connection, and I have a passion for the latest studies in neuro-science on the primitive nervous sytem.
I woke up but resisted getting up. It was a glorious Southern California early fall, sun already bright and it wasn’t 8 am yet, but I remembered my commitment to staying present.
I had just gotten a great job with the airlines. I would be traveling the world and I was starting to feel unsure about it. I recognized the resistance to change. I knew that to mean I was not in the present moment, but instead worrying about the future.
The first thing I thought about was my feet: For this new job I wanted to feel good mentally, spiritually and physically. I would start by getting a pedicure. I resisted this too. It might be a spa experience for some but for me it hurt and wasted valuable time, but I fought through the resistance and showed up on time.
I’ve had the same person for four years but today I had a new person for my massage, Mary. She pushed hard on a spot on the inside of my heel and looked at me…
