I learned this at a level that made a difference when I was really in the desire mode. It was a new career with the airlines that I had interviewed for, had an offer, and now I just needed to wait for my start date and relax and trust. I would receive a “congratulations, you have made it to the next step, you are one step closer to your new ‘role,” then there would be silence for a week. I found myself doing the ‘addictive scroll’ on my phone and email to find out the next step and when I would start to work. This went on for weeks.
As adults, we’re often too focused on what might go wrong or on memories of failures in the past.
These fears come from tension and stress.
I was excited at the possibilities that were looming in front of me. It was just so slow in coming.
I knew if I could relax and trust I would need a healthier, more centered approach. I had to gain back peace of mind, return to the person who attracted the opportunity in the first place.
