Simplicity Of Living On A Sailboat Builds Focus, Momentum, and Thrilling Results.
Freed up Space Makes Life An Exotic Adventure
I’ve always known I love to write, although I didn’t always give it enough attention. I didn’t realize how much it is a part of me until I read these words by Paul Theroux, author of 60 published books in almost 60 years: ‘All creativity is uplifting; I finish a book in a mood approaching rapture.”
So with that feeling of rapture as a goal, I’m hooked. It is easier to get past the self-talk that tells me there’s something else I need to be doing.
Every day I write. This is new. And almost every day I publish. It’s a new mindset, reminding me of how I designed a new life when I moved onto a sailboat with my husband, Jim.
I’ve learned that motivation comes from starting.
Like the seed planted in the ground, soon the next step is revealed, increasing motivation. Momentum grows from daily nurturing, and results sprout into something wild and free, far beyond the appearance of the original seed of intention.
It was similar to how life unfolded when we moved out of the big house with a big life and onto a sailboat, a new style of living that didn’t require much of anything.
